001 Gaze
The gaze in photography has been monopolized by straight, cis, abled, white, male people. If history is written by the winners, than photography and therefore gaze has been defined by colonizers and oppressors. Our first issue, Gaze, is antithesis of 'the Gaze,' it is every other gaze being highlighted.
This issue has female photographers. Queer photographers. Hispanic and African photographer. Those photographers chose models who are of color, women, queer, trans, different body shapes, scarred and disabled.
